Bowerman Associates was hired as the General Contractor for a major addition to the NorthPaws Veterinary Center. The project expanded the current facility to total 6,300 sf of usable area and 2,000 sf for future expansion. The addition included several exam rooms, a state-of-the-art treatment area, pharmacy, waiting areas and a high-end surgical center. Although not attempting to acquire LEED certification, the owner chose to take a ‘green’ approach and construction included a complete geothermal heating and air-conditioning system, Energy Star fixtures and many other environmentally friendly choices.
